Lukashenko on visit to Obuz-Lesnovsky combined arms training ground

As part of his working trip to the Brest Region, Belarus’ President will visit the Obuz-Lesnovsky combined arms exercise area to get acquainted with unmanned aircraft complexes, as well as other weapons, military and special equipment introduced into service by the Belarusian army and developed by organisations of the defence sector of the economy

Combat capabilities of weapons and military equipment will then be demonstrated to the Commander-in-Chief: in particular, an episode of the combat use of unmanned aerial vehicles and anti-UAVs, and also the use of a multi-level automated control system for a battalion tactical group and armoured vehicles.


Earlier, on October 18th, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted at a meeting with the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Vladimir Gusakov, “Our drones (we will talk about them on Friday) are a topical issue. They are very relevant, based on the lessons of the war in Ukraine.”
