Lukashenko on reproaches of Armenian leadership: I've always sticked to common sense
Answering questions from journalists on January 26th, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on the accusations of the Armenian leadership who assert that Belarus supports Azerbaijan in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict
Aleksandr Lukashenko called that criticism ‘nonsense’. “I have always sticked to common sense,” he said. “I have always advocated that there should be no war and that we should not fight with each other. Armenians are a wonderful nation, they are smart and educated people. They have good lands and know how to live and work. Well, take advantage of that. Why are you causing a quarrel between us? What will you benefit from that?”
