Lukashenko on mining and processing complex in Lyuban District: this construction site is comparable to nuclear power plant
During his working trip to the Minsk Region, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that the construction of a mining and processing complex in the Lyuban District is comparable to the construction of a nuclear power plant
The Head of State compared the major construction project in the Lyuban District with the construction of a nuclear power plant, “It is possible to compare this construction site with a nuclear power plant – a serious task. We will finish the work here this year.”
The Belarusian leader paid special attention to the development of infrastructure in the area, stressing that it is necessary to work in the same manner as it is being done in Ostrovets, “Lyuban should be comparable to Ostrovets and Soligorsk. We should build social housing and infrastructure there, and we are not stepping aside this work. We need to provide our people with accommodation. Everything should be perfect there, and – to achieve this – social infrastructure is being prepared. We will do everything for people, specifically for production tasks. This involves manufacturing, housing, and social infrastructure. If this is done, then the country will develop successfully.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko also set the task to decide on how to use industrial waste in Lyuban and Soligorsk.
