Lukashenko on landscaping in Zhirovichi: there will be final inspection in spring, so everything must be perfect
The Zhirovichi Monastery is a gem of Orthodoxy, and everything should be done perfectly here — as noted by President Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s working trip to the Grodno Region, where he toured the Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery
Immediately upon arrival, Aleksandr Lukashenko posed a number of questions to the officials. And first of all, he drew attention to the territories adjacent to the temple, “Some parts around this monastery suggest that some work was done in a hurry. Not everything has been completed. Definitely not everything. Keep in mind, this is a gem of Orthodoxy. Once a decision is made, it must be carried out properly. There should not be a single neglected area. We need to create an ideal place for Orthodoxy here.”
According to the Head of State, this also relates to the reclamation of the surrounding lands.
“You will have a final inspection here in spring,” the President warned. “Everywhere: the agro-town of Zhirovichi — everything in its vicinity must be perfect.”
