"Guys, I will support you, provide you with food and medical care – whatever, but I will never be able to help you if you get engaged into unsavoury ventures. Corruption is out of the question. There will be no forgiveness. This is beyond my understanding. This is impossible," the Belarusian leader warned. “You will never do anything secretly anywhere. I wish you to hear me. Do not do this. We will always find money to help you if there is a result [of your work], but never get into it [corruption]. I am just asking and warning you.”

"The destruction of the economy and corruption mean a war," the President added. “It is terrible. A war begins with the economy, and that is why I always remind you of this. Let's better work calmly in a quiet, peaceful country rather than fight."

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that he demands performance discipline from managers, and he will continue to exert appropriate pressure. “I always warn you, and I even use such a bad word as ‘repression’ – figuratively speaking. Therefore, let’s ensure discipline at all levels, let’s organise ourselves. Tension is created at the top, and it further needs to be shifted to your subordinates – to inspire everyone for more active work,” the Head of State addressed the meeting participants.
