Lukashenko named strategic task for passenger air transportation
Today’s report to the President on the work of Belarus’ transport complex under sanctions focused on the situation in the passenger transportation segment – among other issues
Aleksandr Lukashenko, in particular, outlined a strategic task for civil aviation, “Despite the West’s desire to cut us off from the so-called civilised Europe, we continue to fly and maintain a high level of aviation security. Our strategic task is to expand the directions of air traffic, to enable people to travel on business, on vacation, and to visit relatives. It is also important to maintain a high level of flight safety, not stop developing the aviation industry, and continue updating the fleet. At the same time, the price of flights should be competitive and not exorbitant for our people.”
