Lukashenko: Minsk-Tashkent constructive interaction to grow stronger for two nations’ benefit

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State noted that the dialogue between Belarus and Uzbekistan is rapidly developing on the principles of mutual trust, respect, support and alliance. “Currently, Belarusian-Uzbek interaction is on the rise: bilateral trade is growing at a record high and ties are actively strengthening across various fields,” the congratulatory message reads. “I am convinced that the constructive interaction between Minsk and Tashkent will continue to grow stronger, enriched by new large-scale joint projects for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Uzbekistan.”

The congratulatory message of the President of Uzbekistan, addressed to the President of Belarus, says that due to joint efforts in recent years, bilateral liaisons have reached a qualitatively new level and are filled with specific practical content. “Today, our constructive interaction, based on the principles of openness and consideration of each other’s interests, covers a wide range of areas. The volume of mutual trade is steadily growing, important projects in the fields of industrial co-operation and agriculture are being successfully implemented, multifaceted ties between regions are deepening, and educational, cultural and humanitarian exchanges are expanding,” the congratulatory message reads.
