Lukashenko made new appointments
Belarus’ President has today agreed to appoint a number of heads of local executive and administrative bodies. From now on, Vyacheslav Durnov (previously First Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism) will work as Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Gennady Dengalev – who headed the Borisov District – will be Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. Six district heads have also been replaced: the Pruzhany District will be led by Mikhail Grishkevich, the Kobrin District – by Aleksandr Pachko, the Luninets District – by Aleksandr Savin, the Borisov District – by Nikolai Karpovich, the Starye Dorogi District – by Dmitry Sosinovich, and the Slutsk District – by Vladimir Goga.
