Lukashenko made important personnel decisions

Valery Ivanov, who headed the Belarus President Property Management Directorate for a little over a year, turned to the Head of State with a request to consider his application for a transfer to another job and Aleksandr Lukashenko supported this request – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

Options for applying Valery Ivanov’s experience and knowledge in another important area will be considered in the very near future, after the improvement of his health.

The Belarus President Property Management Directorate is now chaired by Yuri Nazarov, who until now – in the position of Deputy Prime Minister – was supervising the development of machine building, petrochemistry, woodworking, and science. Yuri Nazarov has already worked in the Property Management Directorate, holding the position of its deputy head in 2010-2013. He is well aware of the specifics of the production and economic processes of this diversified structure.

The post of Deputy Prime Minister will not remain vacant. It will be occupied by Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik, who is a high-class organiser of production, heading BelAZ – a flagship of the Belarusian industrial complex – for over 13 years. He is aware of all the instructions and requirements of the Head of State, the implementation of which he will be overseeing in his new post.
