Lukashenko: it is those countries that can create and use new technologies that will prosper

Addressing the children, the Belarusian leader noted that due to their young age, it is still difficult for them to realise how fast science and technology are changing people's lives today, “Believe me, extremely fast. If 20 years ago not every Belarusian family had the internet and a computer, today those, along with mobile phones, are commonplace. Technologies that recently seemed like pure fantasy are constantly making their way into everyday life and manufacturing. Smart cities, robots, drones, artificial intelligence — these are no longer just topics of debate among scientists about the near future, but our reality. And it is those countries that can create new technologies and use them effectively in manufacturing and other areas of life that will prosper.”
