Lukashenko interviewed by Chinese media

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has been interviewed by China Media Group and Xinhua News Agency, BelTA reports

The interview has been led by Xinhua’s head of the correspondent office in Belarus, Lu Jinbo, and a correspondent and presenter of the Leaders' Conversation programme, Li Tongtong, from China Media Group.

Xinhua News Agency, founded in 1931, is currently considered the most influential Internet resource in China. News reports in multimedia format are posted around the clock in eight languages, including Russian. The audience of the agency, according to various estimates, varies from 800m to one billion people. Xinhua has 35 branches in China, more than 180 offices abroad, including in Minsk.

China Media Group is one of the largest media corporations in the world. It was established in 2018 on the basis of China Central Television, People's Radio and the International Radio, and it also includes the CGTN network of foreign broadcasting channels. The corporation's materials are available in 143 countries and regions worldwide, and its audience exceeds one billion people in China and beyond.
