Lukashenko: intensification of Belarusian-Dutch dialogue meets interests of both states’ citizens

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on King's Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Despite the distance between our countries, different points of view on world processes and their assessment, we have many common features – and love for our native land is the main of them,” the Head of State noted. “Peace must reign on the European continent in order to preserve the Motherland, be able to continue to develop comprehensively, to look for solutions to acute modern problems in various fields, including ecology, energy, and agriculture. This is a value that must be cherished, and that we always should strive to preserve through joint efforts based on the principles of trust, respect and co-operation."

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the intensification of the Belarusian-Dutch dialogue based on equality and mutual respect meets the interests of the both states’ citizens, also being an element of stability and prosperity in Europe.

The President of Belarus wished the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands a peaceful future, harmony and prosperity.
