“We are at an enterprise that has been under sanctions all its life,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “This is world class. I only tell them that they need to move on – above this world level.”

The President separately noted the demand for the products of the BelOMO Holding, while identifying the problems, “The problem is not even in the supply. There is a small problem with the transfer of money. This is banditry. They have taken the goods and are ready to pay, but some banks block their transfers and payments. We’ll solve this problem too. That is, one cannot dismiss the sanctions, saying that nothing happened. No, we feel the impact of the sanctions on Belarus. But our economy is such that everything we produce – shoes, clothing, food – all this is needed. High-precision weapons, sights, devices for it are in great demand. The only problem is that logistics chains have been disrupted, and above all, payments for the delivered products. We will solve this problem.”

The Belarusian Head of State said that he instructed to develop appropriate measures. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, problems with BelOMO should be settled within the next week, “I’ll see how they can do it today. I’m sure they will. You know, we will carry money in suitcases, control it, but we will make payments.”
