Lukashenko: Independence Day means peace for most Belarusians

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has taken part in a wreath laying ceremony at the Mound of Glory memorial complex today, July 3^rd

After laying a wreath at the foot of the memorial, the Head of State addressed the ceremony participants, “Today we — millions of Belarusians — are celebrating the main state holiday of our beloved Motherland. We have gathered to praise it on this summer morning in a holy place, among the ripening fields of the Minsk Region, looking up into our native blue sky without fear. I am convinced that this holiday means peace for most Belarusians.”
