Lukashenko: I will do everything to ensure Ukraine is ours

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, told Dmitry Kiselyov, the General Director of Rossiya Segodnya international news agency, that he would never be on the side of frenzy nationalists in Ukraine, BelTA reports

"I will never be on the side of the nationalist frenzy which is developing in Ukraine these days. I will do everything to ensure Ukraine is ours. It is our Ukraine. Ukrainians are our kith and kin. These are not emotions. This is my strong belief,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

"Therefore, if Russia faces aggression on the part of Ukraine, we will stand by Russia – legally, economically and politically. Legally is the key here,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
