“Throughout its long history, your country has repeatedly become the object of harsh external pressure. You, like no one else, know very well that only with mutual respect and trust, with each other’s support in the international arena, can our states protect their sovereignty and respond to modern challenges in order to confidently step forward,” reads the congratulatory message.

The President stressed that the Belarusians have always, even in the most difficult moments, helped the fraternal Serbian people, with whom they share common spiritual and cultural values.

“I believe that the Republic of Serbia will remain a reliable partner of Belarus in the Balkans,” underlined the Head of State. “Minsk looks forward to strengthening friendly relations with Belgrade, deepening bilateral contacts and expanding interaction at all levels and across all areas of mutual interest.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian people good health, fruitful work and success.
