Lukashenko holding meeting with Vice Premier of China’s State Council
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is holding a meeting with Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Liu Guozhong today, BelTA reports
The Vice Premier of China’s State Council – who also co-chairs the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Co-operation Committee – arrived in Belarus on a visit on May 21st.
The committee already held its sixth meeting in Minsk, and among those present were Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov and Liu Guozhong. A number of documents were signed: a memorandum of understanding on strengthening investment co-operation in the digital economy, a protocol of the commission of the State Committee on Science and Technology and the Chinese Science and Technology Ministry on defining flagship projects for 2025-2026. The minutes of the meeting set out the intention to declare 2026-2027 thematic years of Belarusian-Chinese industrial co-operation.
