The presidents of Belarus and Israel, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Isaac Herzog talked by phone today – as reported by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The heads of state discussed bilateral relations between Belarus and Israel and directions of their development, also focusing on a range of humanitarian issues.

As informed by the press service, it has also turned out that the President of Israel has Belarusian roots. Belarus is his small homeland. Isaac Herzog is from Berezino, and his wife is from Gomel. The heads of state discussed the schedule of their contacts amid the pandemic. Aleksandr Lukashenko invited his counterpart to visit his small homeland.
