President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has had a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin today, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State congratulated his Russian counterpart on his birthday.

The presidents discussed a number of issues related to the development of Belarusian-Russian relations, the international agenda, and the situation in the region.

The heads of state compared positions on the upcoming contacts, in particular, on the sidelines of the CIS summit in Dushanbe scheduled to be held later this week.
