Lukashenko: foundation of Belarus-Kyrgyzstan partnership to be further strengthened in the interests of both countries

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Relying on the traditions of friendship and respect, our states have passed a worthy joint path over the past decades. The interaction between Minsk and Bishkek is of a deep and versatile character. Our trade, economic and humanitarian co-operation is actively developing, and a constructive dialogue has been established within the framework of integration associations," the congratulatory message reads. "I hope that, through joint efforts, the solid foundation of our partnership will continue to strengthen in the interests of the two countries and peoples."

In turn, the congratulatory message sent by the President of Kyrgyzstan to Aleksandr Lukashenko reads that both countries have managed to maintain and develop bilateral co-operation in almost all spheres of life, establish a political dialogue, expand trade and economic co-operation, strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties. Kyrgyzstan and Belarus are also full members of the CIS, the CSTO, the EAEU and other regional associations in the Eurasian space, also providing mutual support on the platforms of international organisations.

"Attaching historical importance to the anniversary date, I want to assure that Kyrgyzstan, as before, intends to comprehensively increase mutually beneficial co-operation with friendly Belarus at a qualitatively new level," the Kyrgyz leader stressed.
