Lukashenko extends Customs Service Day greetings

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the leadership, personnel and veterans of the customs service of the Republic of Belarus on their professional holiday – Customs Day – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Under the conditions of the hybrid war unleashed by the West against Belarus and Russia, the role of the country’s customs authorities has increased many times. I am convinced that the employees of the service, who have always been distinguished by high professionalism, stamina and the ability to quickly respond to any changes in the situation, understand this well and will do everything to ensure the economic security of the state, the development of foreign economic activity and the stable work of labour teams,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Belarusian Head of State particularly thanked veterans who gave many years of their lives to the formation and development of the Belarusian customs, passing on their experience and knowledge to the younger generation.

Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked leadership, personnel and veterans of the customs service for their work, dedication and service duty.

He wished them strong health, happiness, well-being, and success in all endeavours, as well as peace and blessings to them and their families.
