Lukashenko extended National Day greetings to people of Spain

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Spain on National Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State noted that this holiday embodies the honour and dignity, courage and self-sacrifice of the Spanish people, reflects its significant role in European and world history, and symbolises the unity of the country.

"I am confident that the desire for peaceful and mutually beneficial co-operation, constructive dialogue and friendly relations fully meets the sincere interests of Belarusians and Spaniards and remains the foundation of bilateral contacts, despite the complicated geopolitical trends of recent years," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President addressed wishes of good health, happiness, prosperity and national solidarity to the citizens of Spain.
