Lukashenko expressed condolences to Putin over terrorist attacks in Dagestan

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed his most sincere condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin over a series of barbaric terrorist attacks in Dagestan that caused the deaths of law enforcement officers and civilians, reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“We strongly condemn the inhumane attacks on religious sites, the purpose of which was to intimidate people, sow panic and distrust towards each other, while violating the interfaith peace and harmony that have existed in friendly Dagestan for centuries,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The Head of State expressed his conviction that all those guilty of committing this grave crime will be identified and will be punished as they deserve.

“In this sad hour, I wish courage and fortitude to the families and friends of those killed over their irreparable loss, as well as a speedy recovery to all the injured,” the message of condolences reads.
