Lukashenko explains who can stop military actions in Ukraine without much ado
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, told The Associated Press who can stop armed hostilities in Ukraine virtually within a week, BelTA reports
Discoursing upon whether the Ukrainian leadership has a desire to stop hostilities in the country by diplomatic means, the Head of State noted, “The leadership of Ukraine may wish, but it can’t. It cannot for one reason: it is not Zelenskyy who governs Ukraine now (he should not take umbrage about me, this is my point of view). You are governing there [meaning representatives of Western countries which the interviewer represented – BelTA’s remark].”
"If only Joe Biden says: ‘Well, guys. You have fought enough, so let’s stop. Nobody needs a war, it brings no profit’, then everything will stop within a week,” the President of Belarus added.
