Lukashenko: country’s food security fully ensured by stable work of all links in agricultural industry

Dear rural workers,
I wholeheartedly congratulate you on your professional holiday – Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers' Day!
This year has been extremely difficult due to weather disasters. But thanks to your professionalism, diligence and careful attitude towards your native land, the country has harvested a record crop of cereals, legumes and rapeseed — more than 11m tonnes.
The stable work of all links in the agricultural industry made it possible to fulfil the state order for grain supplies, establish a seed fund, procure the necessary amount of fodder for livestock farming, harvest a decent crop of industrial crops and ensure the workload of processing enterprises.
The country's food security is fully ensured, with its export potential growing.
Such a strong result was made possible thanks to the labour of thousands of people for whom the land is a source of inspiration and strength.
I’m convinced that you will cope with any tasks for agriculture, and we will be proud of your successes a good many times.
