Lukashenko congratulates Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili on Independence Day

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, on Independence Day of Georgia – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Being a respected member of the world community, Georgia is confidently moving towards strengthening statehood and ensuring sustainable socio-economic growth," the Head of State noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also emphasised that mutual sympathy and sincere benevolent interest of the two peoples have always been and remain a reliable foundation for multifaceted Belarusian-Georgian co-operation, which should continue to actively develop for the benefit of the two countries.
