Lukashenko congratulates Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on winning the Philippines presidential election

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and personally, congratulated Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on his victory in the presidential election in the Republic of the Philippines – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

“The relations between our countries are based on mutual trust, sincere respect and interest in strengthening bilateral co-operation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres. I hope that with your support, the Belarusian-Philippines dialogue will continue to develop successfully, including through the intensification of regular contacts at different levels,” reads the congratulatory message.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Ferdinand Marcos Jr. strong health and success in his responsible state post, and peace, stability and prosperity to the people of the Philippines.
