Lukashenko congratulated Vučić on his re-election as Serbian President
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent greetings to the President of Serbia, the Chairman of the Serbian Progressive Party, Aleksandar Vučić, on his re-election to the post of head of state and the convincing victory of the coalition he leads at the parliamentary elections – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“The high result of voting in the first round is unique in the history of the country and testifies to the exceptional confidence of the Serbian people in the policy that you are confidently pursuing, based on the interests of the people,” reads the congratulatory message.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed hope that the traditional mutually beneficial Belarusian-Serbian co-operation would be preserved, despite the colossal pressure that Minsk and Belgrade feel today.
The Belarusian Head of State wished Aleksandar Vučić strong health and success in his responsible state activities, and a peaceful sky and solidarity to the people of Serbia.
