Lukashenko congratulated State Hermitage Museum Director Mikhail Piotrovsky on his 80th birthday
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Mikhail Piotrovsky, the Director General of Russia’s State Hermitage Museum, on his 80th birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“The history of one of the world’s most famous museums, the State Hermitage Museum, is inextricably linked to your name. During your leadership, the institution has preserved and multiplied its richest cultural heritage. You enjoy special authority in the professional community. You are distinguished by your firm civic position, thorough knowledge of museum development trends and unconventional thinking,” the congratulatory message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed his conviction that Mikhail Piotrovsky’s work would be as active and fruitful in the future, and wished him health, well-being and new achievements.
