Lukashenko congratulated President of Zimbabwe on 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – as informed by the Belarusian leader’s press service
The Head of State noted that Belarus and Zimbabwe are firmly linked by friendship and mutual trust, which have passed the test of time. The countries are now strategic partners.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the Vision 2030 economic development plan initiated by the President of Zimbabwe provides favourable conditions for implementation of bilateral agreements and expansion of co-operation in various fields.
"I am convinced that – by uniting our efforts – we will be able to strengthen Belarusian-Zimbabwean relations for the benefit of our states and peoples in the name of security, sustainable prosperity and stability," the congratulatory message reads.
The President wished good health and new successes in responsible activities to Emmerson Mnangagwa, and peace and progress – to the friendly people of Zimbabwe.
