Lukashenko congratulated President and friendly people of Namibia on Independence Day
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of Namibia Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and the friendly people of this country on Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"Thanks to the selfless struggle of Namibian patriots for national liberation, successes in nation-building and socio-economic development, Namibia is today one of the leading countries on the African continent," Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked. "Given Minsk's interest in expanding co-operation with Windhoek, as well as its good practical experience in implementing projects with Zimbabwe and other African countries, Belarus is ready to offer the Namibian side its expertise in food security, agricultural mechanisation, mining, energy, and transport."
The Head of State invited Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah to pay an official visit to Belarus to discuss all issues of deepening bilateral relations.
"I wish Your Excellency good health, happiness and fruitful work in the responsible public office, and I wish peace and prosperity to the people of Namibia," the message of greetings reads.
