President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated People's Artist of Russia Yuri Antonov on his 80th birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Your life is inextricably linked with Belarus. You made your first steps into the great world of musical art in our country. You are appreciated here as an exceptionally talented countryman, and people of Belarus look forward to meeting their favourite artist," the message of greetings reads.

The Head of State expressed confidence that Yuri Antonov's creative work will continue to strengthen friendship and cultural co-operation between the fraternal peoples of Belarus and Russia.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the musician good health, inexhaustible energy and well-being.
