President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on his election as President of Namibia, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
The Belarusian leader pointed out that voting results testify to the high level of trust of compatriots in the course of the country’s development, which is pursued by the party South West Africa People's Organisation and Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah personally.
According to the President, Belarus warmly remembers her official visit in October 2016 as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Co-operation of Namibia.
“I am confident that with your knowledge of the Belarusian economy, personal participation and great political experience we will be able to bring the interstate dialogue to a qualitatively new level,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
The Head of State reiterated interest in transforming the significant potential of bilateral partnership, including in such sectors as industry, agricultural mechanisation, food security, science and education, into joint mutually beneficial projects.
“I will be glad to meet with you to discuss ways to intensify Belarusian-Namibian co-operation,” the President said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah strong health and success in this responsible state post.
