Lukashenko congratulated Belarusian diplomatic corps on professional holiday

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired personnel of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Belarus on their professional holiday – Diplomatic Worker’s Day – sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service

“At the present stage of our country’s development, you’re facing the most important tasks: to be a reliable outpost in representing Belarus’ economic interests and its export potential, to attract investments and the latest technologies, to consistently expand the circle of our partners and like-minded people abroad, to convincingly prove to opponents the futility of any pressure on our country, to help our compatriots in difficult situations abroad, and to contribute in every possible way to strengthening peace and security,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State is convinced that together with their colleagues – true professionals and statesmen – the diplomatic service employees will fulfil this responsible mission with dignity.

“I wish every employee of the Foreign Ministry system, fully possessing the erudition and training inherent in the profession, to honestly and proudly carry the high title of a diplomat, always remaining a model of a true citizen and patriot,” the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished diplomats strong health, peace and successful achievement of these goals for the benefit of our Belarus.
