Lukashenko congratulated Belarus’ Honour Guard Company on 30th anniversary of its formation

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the personnel and veterans of the Honour Guard Company of the Commandant's Battalion of the Minsk Military Commandant's Office on the significant date: 30th anniversary of its formation, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"In the shortest possible time after its creation, the Honour Guard Company became an elite unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, and the service there is especially honourable, but at the same time responsible," the message of greetings reads.

The Head of State noted that the company is now a constant participant in all official ceremonies, state and significant socio-political events. Its exhibition drill at the parades in commemoration of Victory Day and Independence Day of Belarus has become traditional, and it is much appreciated by the audience. Thanks to its participation in various international events, the unique team is well known far beyond the borders of the country, and it is a true calling card of Belarus and its Armed Forces.

"I am convinced that you will continue to be our pride, an example of hard work, patriotism, dedication to military duty, and the oath," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The President wished the personnel and veterans of the Honour Guard Company good health, happiness, prosperity and new successes in their service for the benefit of their native Belarus.
