Lukashenko congratulated Anton Smolski on his silver Olympic medal
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Anton Smolski on silver medal at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, BelTA reports
Belarusian biathlete Anton Smolski claimed Olympic silver in Men’s 20km Individual, with four shooting bouts.
“Dear Anton! Accept my congratulations on the silver medal captured in a difficult individual race at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. This season you have swept into the elite of the world biathlon and stepped onto the podium at the main competitions of the four-year period. The Olympic medal – won in an uncompromising struggle against the strongest athletes of the planet – is a great success for you personally, for the team, and for the whole country. I wish you good health, luck and new victories," the congratulatory message reads.
