Lukashenko congratulated 3rd Separate Red Banner Special-Purpose Brigade on its 80th jubilee
The Head of State sent congratulations to the command, personnel and veterans of Military Unit No. 3214 of the Internal Troops of Belarus’ Interior Ministry on the 80th anniversary of the unit’s establishment
“A great glorious path has been passed, and several generations of special-purpose soldiers have fought on the war fronts, performed tasks at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and during interethnic conflicts in Transcaucasia, Central Asia and Moldova. At the same time, the victorious traditions of the unit, loyalty to the oath and readiness to selflessly defend the Motherland remain unchanged,” the congratulatory message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “You are daily on duty, and you are now firmly standing guard over the rightfulness and peaceful labour of Belarusians, constantly solving service and combat tasks unique in their specifics and complexity – not deviating from the laws of the special forces brotherhood even in the most difficult and dangerous situations.”
The Head of State believes legendary unit No. 3214 will continue to represent the strength and power of the Interior Ministry’s Internal Troops, while its command, personnel and veterans will act as an example of true patriotism, courage and valour. The President wished them and their families good health, happiness, much luck, kindness and well-being.
