Lukashenko comments on western sanctions: we will hold out to spite the enemies!

Belarus and Russia will withstand western sanctions pressure to spite the enemies – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, before his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin today in Moscow, BelTA reports

“We will definitely hold out – to spite the enemies!” the Head of State said when asked on whether Belarus and Russia would be able to withstand the sanctions.

As reported, at their talks in Moscow, the two states’ leaders plan to discuss topical issues of bilateral relations, development of the Union State and economic co-operation against the sanctions pressure. The situation in the region and in Ukraine is also on the agenda.
