Lukashenko comments on how many refugees enter the EU from our territory daily
Speaking at the meeting on the situation on the state border today, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “We can say that we have information from their sources – official and unofficial. According to their sources, more than 600 people enter the territory of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia from the territory of Belarus every day (we admit this and openly speak of this). 660-700 people daily.”
The President also commented on the neighbouring countries’ actions, “What are they doing, these villains? They catch these people, right up to the border with Germany, if someone failed to pass Poland – by the way, with the help of Poles, Ukrainians and Germans. They are primarily taking these people to Germany from the border. If these fail to pass, then they grab, beat and throw them on the state border. We have 330 such people, except for this camp where there are more than 2,100 people. Around 330 people stay between two wires, between two barriers: our engineering structures and the fence they built. That's how they hang out along the state border – exhausted and beaten. This happens until they break through the barbed wire again and pass into the territory of Poland.”
