Lukashenko commented on Polish general’s statements of ‘upcoming uprising’ in Belarus: we are ready, they may come

Before the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Moscow on May 25th, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, talked to journalists and commented on the recent statement by former Deputy Minister of National Defence of Poland, Waldemar Skrzypczak, of the West's plans to stage a coup in Belarus and of Poland's readiness to support an uprising in the country

“Unfortunately, they do not hear my statements, but you probably know that I said a few months ago: they were preparing for an uprising, for a revolution,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “I do not know what they are preparing for in Belarus. Meanwhile, we know for a long time that they are preparing for some kind of another mutiny. We are tracking these guys, about whom this brainsick general was talking. [We know] that chorągwi, regiments or battalions – as they name it – are being created there. In fact, we know where they are, and we know everyone by name. We are ready, they may come.”

As previously reported, the former Deputy Minister of National Defence of Poland, Waldemar Skrzypczak, said his country is preparing for an uprising in Belarus. According to him, Belarusians who are currently participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine can take part in the uprising, and Poland should be ready to help them.
