Lukashenko: bilateral co-operation between Belarus and Zimbabwe is new standard in working with African countries
The bilateral co-operation between Belarus and Zimbabwe has set a new standard in working with African countries – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s talks with President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa in an expanded format

The Belarusian leader warmly welcomed his colleague and friend, as well as all members of the Zimbabwean delegation, “We highly appreciate the friendship with your country, with your people. We are united by common approaches to the formation of a just world order based on the sovereign equality of all states, multilateralism, respect for the UN Charter and international law.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed, “Our bilateral co-operation is a new standard in working with African countries. Considering this high level, we have tried to prepare a rich programme for you and all members of the delegation. I am sure that the results of the visit will give a powerful impetus to the relations of brotherhood and partnership between the peoples of Belarus and Zimbabwe.”
The President also stated that, in recent years, Belarus and Zimbabwe have brought political relations to a new level, significantly expanded trade and economic interaction, and formed a solid legal framework for co-operation.
