Lukashenko: Belarusian People’s Congress to meet in April

The President of Belarus, Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko, has convened a meeting of the Presidium of the Belarusian People’s Congress today

The Head of State noted that the beginning of the year was very active in socio-political terms in Belarus, “Following the election campaign, a regular meeting of the Belarusian People’s Congress is scheduled for April. Today's Presidium will launch preparations for this most important state event.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko reminded that the Belarusian People's Congress in its constitutional status will be held for the second time. A total of seven meetings have been held over the years of the country’s independence.
