A delegation from the Russian region came to Belarus on February 2nd and will stay in the republic until February 5th.
Welcoming the guest, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he often meets with Russian governors, “I see this as a good sign for the future in terms of solving the main issues that Russia and Belarus face today. Life has raised these questions. It is good that, finally, the external conditions have forced us to deal with our domestic problems and look around less. I am absolutely convinced that, despite the seriousness of the challenges, we are able in the current conditions to solve the issues that life has been throwing at us.”
The trade turnover between Belarus and Khabarovsk Krai amounted to about $35m in 2023. In January-November 2024, mutual trade increased by 45 percent and reached $47.8m.
