The Belarusian leader suggested maintaining the momentum and dynamics of co-operation, strengthening the high level of trust reached between the two countries, “To achieve this, in addition to the economy, we have such a wonderful tool as co-operation in sports and culture at our disposal. Now, drawing on the best international experience, we are building a new national museum of Belarusian history. We would be grateful for advice from the most Belarusian Omani, so to speak —Secretary-General of the National Museum of Oman [Jamal Al-Moosawi]. Mutual meetings and visits are essential to advance our projects — as you are doing today. I am convinced that if we maintain such a high level of our relations, all the projects and contracts we signed and will sign are accomplished on time.”
Addressing the Omani guests, Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasised, “Belarus-Oman dialogue is destined to become an example of equal, trusting and mutually beneficial co-operation between two friendly counties. I’m confident that our today’s personal contact will contribute to this. We are ready for it. Let me assure you once again that all our agreements with the Belarusian side will be executed strictly and on time, because Oman is an extremely interesting country for us. We will respond in kind.”
