The Belarusian leaders advised the delegation to visit the BELAGRO large-scale agricultural exhibition which is taking place in Minsk these days.

“If there is any interest, we will be happy to join the implementation of these projects in your region,” the President said, noting that Belarus and the Kursk Region can successfully complement each other in the field of agro-industrial complex. “We have certain developments in this sphere, and you know about them,” he added.

Belarus is ready to provide services to the Kursk Region in housing repairs, design and engineering surveys. Moreover, Belarusians are ready to build on a turnkey basis.

The Head of State also proposed supplies of elevator equipment to the Russian region, “I know that any city, both in Belarus and in Russia, is in need of this.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko drew attention to Belarus’ possibilities in the field of water treatment and wastewater disposal equipment, “Life has forced us to focus on this sphere in Belarus. Clean water is human health, and everyone understands this. This programme is being successfully implemented in Belarus. If necessary, we can join development of similar projects on your territory.”

The Head of State added that the Kursk Region has set an ambitious task for itself: to join the top ten regions of the Russian Federation. “Worthily! We would like our neighbours to take this place. The closer to the top, the better,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
