Lukashenko: Belarus, Iran remain friends and partners for years

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and the people of this country on the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution – an event that is a vivid symbol of Iran's independence, sovereignty and national identity, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"I am pleased to note that, for many years, our countries have remained friends and partners, and the Belarusian-Iranian relations are characterised by positive dynamics of development in all spheres," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State mentioned his first meeting with Masoud Pezeshkian, which took place in Kazan in the atmosphere of complete mutual understanding. "The exchange of views on the issues on the bilateral agenda confirmed the general focus on the implementation of all previously reached agreements," the President stressed. "I look forward to continuing our dialogue in Minsk as part of your official visit."

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Masoud Pezeshkian good health and successful implementation of his plans and initiatives, also wishing peace and prosperity to all Iranian citizens.
