Lukashenko: Belarus, Cuba can convert political contacts into significant projects

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on his 65th birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Under your wise leadership, Cuba continues to strengthen its authority in the international arena, firmly defending the interests and legitimate rights of its citizens. Your personal contribution to this process could hardly be overestimated. You are also known as the supporter of a close multifaceted dialogue between our states. Belarus has been and remains a brotherly country for Cuba, which you can always count on," the message of greetings reads.

The Head of State expressed confidence that – with effective co-ordination of joint actions – Belarus and Cuba will soon be able to convert the high dynamics of their bilateral political contacts into significant projects of economic co-operation in industrial, food, pharmaceutical, sci-tech and other promising sectors. "All conditions have been created for that,” the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez excellent health, well-being and further success in his responsible state activities.
