Lukashenko approved state investment programme for 2023

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has approved the state investment programme for 2023, with the corresponding Decree No. 26 being signed by the Head of State on February 7th – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service 

The state investment programme envisages the design and construction of 136 facilities this year, of which 53 are planned to be put into operation.

Almost Br1.15bn is provided for financing the facilities included in the programme, of which Br891m (78 percent) is for the implementation of the state programmes: Roads of Belarus, Health of the People and Demographic Security, Enforcement of Law and Order, Agrarian Business, Border Security, Education and Youth Policy, House Construction and others.

In accordance with the programme, it is planned to start financing the construction (reconstruction) of twenty-three facilities in 2023, including three overpasses in the Brest, Gomel and Grodno regions, three family-type orphanages in Polotsk, Bobruisk and Beshenkovichi, and two hospitals in Brest and Pinsk.
