“We are afraid that this can lead to the most terrible collision. God forbid, using the most terrible weapon. The Americans, having seized on this ‘gift’ after Afghanistan (they quickly jumped out of there), will never leave so as not to take this chance. But let’s be frank, Russia cannot lose. Russia cannot be defeated there.”

At the same time, the Belarusian Head of State stressed that he personally, like many Belarusians, supports Russia, and explained why the Russian Federation cannot be called an aggressor, and Belarus a co-aggressor, “If the preventive special operation had not started then, Belarus would have been struck first of all by missiles. Partly because there were still Russian troops that had not yet been withdrawn after the exercises. Moreover, we had to be drawn into this war. However, thirty minutes before the announcement of this special military operation by the President of Russia, we suppressed these points.”

Speaking about this, Aleksandr Lukashenko praised the Russian military for noticing the weapons at the ready in time, “They were preparing for this. Not Ukrainians were preparing for this. They were preparing for this there – in the West, in the United States of America. They will continue pressing this situation. They will do everything to bring Russia to its knees, but Russia cannot kneel.”
