Lukashenko announced signing of decree on housing construction

The President of Belarus has announced this during today’s opening ceremony of children's city polyclinic No. 9 in Minsk

“I yesterday received a decree on construction of private housing. We had excessive red tape there previously, but we are now lifting all [demands]. A person can build a house whatever they wish. It they wish representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to come and give a piece of advice, then it is up to them. But no one should go there. People bear responsibility on their own, they stake the life of their family and children on this. Whichever house they build, they will live in," the Head of State said.

The President added that the document will be signed in the near future.
